FLY THE CLUB DEMO PLANE USING OUR “ BUDDY SYSTEM”
RCCD has an Introductory Flight Program to give you an opportunity to try radio controlled (R/C) flying for a flight or two, before committing to an aircraft and equipment. After we describe the basic principles of R/C flight, you’ll fly our plane on the “Buddy System” - two transmitters connected by a cable. A club Intro Pilot will fly one of our R/C model aircraft to a safe altitude, controlling it with the primary transmitter. Then he will depress a switch on that transmitter to permit control by the secondary transmitter in your hands. You get to fly the plane. But don’t worry; if you get the plane into trouble, he can regain control at any time by releasing the switch on his transmitter.
Contact one of the following registered demo pilots for more information, and an appointment.
